This is possibly my favorite song lyric from one of my favorites artists. It encapsulates how I feel about music and how I use music. No matter what mood I’m in, there is a song that can speak to me in that moment. Music understands me, comforts me, and inspires me. I am thankful every day for the ability to express myself through song and my writing. Without music, it would be a bleaker world. So, hit me with music. Brutalize me with music.
